Elite Steel
Stainless steel is classified into five types based on its metallic structure: austenitic, ferritic, duplex, martensitic, and precipitation hardening. Austenitic stainless steel accounts for about 75% to 80% of total production due to its excellent corrosion resistance and formability.
| Grade | Characteristics & Applications |
|---|---|
| 301/301L | High strength during cold processing. Used for train frames, aircraft, and springs. |
| 304/304L | Widely used with good heat resistance. Applications: medical equipment, food industry, household items. |
| 316L | Excellent resistance to chloride ions. Suitable for seawater desalination and chemical industry. |
